Personal Art
I have a lot of influences from media I took part in growing up. I like thinking about fantastic monsters and places. Some of the work below is commissioned too. I think that every person leaves a part of themselves in the art they make for fun. It’s a piece of my personality and a piece of how I felt during the moment. It’s like a diary.
This landscape is part of a Homebrew D&D campaign I run. The corpse of a mechanical whale is in ruins, but a single beacon of light shines from its one eye.
A personification of 'Famine' as a monster. Its stomach is split to symbolize hunger. The monster is green for envy and greed.
A depiction of 'War' personified as a monster. It overtakes the very nation.
I think this piece is particularly funny. Though it addresses the serious topic of life & death, if you try to focus on the blurred image in the center, you'll find that it is just a small version of the overall picture. Take that as you will.
I think every artist struggles with being 'original'. I compare the same feeling in this collage to a dream.
Made for my friend's song ''86 Testarossa' as album art. They're GÜEY on SoundCloud. I tried to go for a cyberpunk, synthwavey-future kind of feeling.
