Lone

is something you feel when you’re standing in a strange gas station.

I was called on last-minute art duty on this game programmed and written by my friend Mindy Chi. Lone follows the musings of a young girl looking for answers in a strange little gas station.

Strange things appear in the gas station, intimate things that belong to the main character. They act as a reflection of her thoughts concerning a long lost friend.

The story is weird and mysterious, much like the rest of the game. It’s obvious Mindy put a

lot of thought and care into the story and execution, and I’m happy to be able to help her

out. I ended up making up but I think, 2 sprites out of the game. The style reminds me of

Problem Sleuth. It’s simple to really let the story shine through.
